Juicing – Recipes And Benefits

If you are like me, and you are always looking for new and healthy habits to incorporate into your every day lives, chances are you have heard about the juicing craze! Juicing is a great way to pack all your nutrients from fruits and veges in one simple drink. Not only is juicing a great way to change your diet, but it can also help with certain illnesses and ailments one might face on a day to day basis.
A good friend of mine, Karlie, recently had health issues where she would break out in full rashes all over her body and suffered extreme swelling. These are her simple juice recipes, along with a great 10 day plan, that helped her get rid of those issues and continuously keep it under control.

THE MEAN GREEN

2 green apples
1-3 inches of ginger root
4 sticks of celery
1 cucumber
6 leaves of kale
2 handfuls spinach
1 lemon (peeled)
Celery and Cucumbers are the kings of anti-inflammatory. This juice helps incredibly with internal and external inflammation. It also tastes great!

4 Large Carrots
1 Lemon (peeled)
1-3 inches of ginger root (depending on how spicy you like)
2 Red apples
1 Orange (peeled)
A personal favorite and pack with vitamin C, this juice does wonders for your digestive system, keeping you regular and getting rid of any bloating that many of us suffer from. It is also an anti-inflammatory juice, with the ginger also aiding in calming digestion.

 

THE GRAPE ESCAPE

1 Lemon (peeled)
1-3 inches ginger root
2-3 Kale leaves
2-3 large handfuls of spinach
2-3 sticks of celery
1 medium sized beet
1 cup of grapes
Not only is this juice tasty and colorful, but like the others this juice aids with digestion, bloating, inflammation.

Karlie J Dube had a health crisis linked to diet and digestion (otherwise known as leaky gut syndrome).
